Leo Galland, M.D., President of Applied Nutrition, Inc., and creator of the Drug-Nutrient Workshop, has received international recognition as a leader in the field of Nutritional Medicine for the past 25 years. A board-certified internist, Dr. Galland is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Nutrition, an Honorary Professor of the International College of Nutrition, and the author of three books and several dozen scientific articles and textbook chapters. He has written a chapter on Drug-Supplement Interactions for a textbook being published by the American College of Physicians in 2009. Dr. Galland received his education at Harvard University and the New York University School of Medicine and trained in internal medicine at the N.Y.U.-Bellevue Medical Center. He has held faculty positions at New York University, Rockefeller University, the Albert University of Einstein College of Medicine, the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and the Connecticut. In addition to software development and a medical consulting practice, Dr. Galland has been committed to educating physicians and other health professionals in the scientific application of nutrition to clinical care.
